COURSE: 70-440 Software Engineering (3)
This course covers software engineering techniques as applied in a business environment. Topics include the systems development life cycle, feasibility and cost/benefit analysis, data flow diagrams, design of input, on-line and hard copy output, traditional files and databases, prototyping techniques, CASE tools, design of procedures and controls, and project management tools and techniques. Prerequisite: 70-300 or 70-350. Offered: Spring, RMVL.
