COURSE: 02-110 General Biology I (4)
Students explore the organization of living things, from the molecular level through the organismic levels. Emphasis is placed on the chemistry of life, cell structure and function, energy pathways in respiration and photosynthesis, structure and function of animal organ systems and homeostasis in animals. Prerequisite: One year of high school Biology and Chemistry; not intended for non-majors.
