Sales, as an integral subset of the marketing mix, is examined in terms of selling products and services to target markets through various sales channels. Students learn about buyer motivations (the psychology of selling), buyer behaviors, effective communication, presentation and closing the sale as each relate to the sales channels discussed. Prerequisite: 25-200. Offered: Fall.
