Welcome to the College of Business’ Department of Business Administration. We’re grateful that you have taken the time to look around our site and find out about the impressive opportunities that we offer.

In today's competitive global marketplace, successful business people understand the importance of a broad background covering a wide range of skills. The Lewis Business Administration program offers a collaborative learning environment that prepares students for leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. Students develop a range of skills and competencies including leadership, communication, motivation, effective resource utilization, and ethical decision making. Business Administration majors study how organizations and people interact within the context of a dynamic, technologically driven global society. The Business Administration curriculum incorporates information technology, interpersonal dynamics, and communication skills in an effort to balance the human and technical dimensions of organizations. Business Administration focuses on global perspectives and students mastering the skills they need to excel in an increasingly complex business world.

The Business Administration program at Lewis University offers a powerful blend of management theory combined with practical application. This innovative program creates a learning environment emphasizing the impact of diversity, technology, and globalization through intensive case studies and research. Business Administration majors learn to become dynamic and effective managers through a program characterized by depth and rigor of training. A number of specialized minors create a wide array of career opportunities for graduates. These dedicated minors include MIS, Networking Technology, E-Business, International Business, Aviation Administration, Criminal/Social Justice, and Sports Management.

Please take a moment to look at our list of majors and minors (for business and non-business majors), as well as our certificates, which can be earned on the weekends. Also take a look at some of the opportunities we offer in our Internships/Student Employment Section.
