We all enjoy watching television and listening to the radio. However, few people realize how many steps go into producing a show: generating an idea, writing the script, directing the show, editing the footage and broadcasting the finished product. Interested in how all of this is done? Then consider majoring in Radio and Television Broadcasting at Lewis University.
Lewis University's Radio and Television Broadcasting program introduces students to all aspects of the creative and technical production of radio and television production. Students take a wide variety of classes such as Broadcasting in America, Television Production, Electronics and Engineering, and Broadcast Writing.
Not only do students learn in the classroom, they also learn hands-on. Students can develop their skills beyond the beginner's level, with four years of work at the Lewis University Television Network, or WLRA/FM 88.1, the University's radio station.
