Aviation - Aircraft Maintenance

There are three curriculum options at Lewis for someone preparing for employment in the aviation maintenance field; Certificate Program, Associate Degree Program and the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance and Management. There is also an option of a Minor in Aviation Maintenance. All programs earn college credits and the certificate program is FAA approved under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 147.

A Minor in Aviation Maintenance is avialable for non-aviation maintenance majors. The minor includes 20 hours of elective credit, in the area of aviation maintenance technology. Classes include both lecture and shop. Course pre-requisites must be considered when registering and majors in aviaton maintenance technology have registration priority.
