Program Highlights

• At most schools, the accounting coursework leading up to a CPA license takes the equivalent of five years. At Lewis, students can successfully plan a four-year accounting degree program. You might also select the MBA option for accounting majors. After completing this five-year program, you will graduate with an MBA and be ready to take the CPA exam.

• Class sizes in the accounting program usually have fewer than 30 students, and are taught by full-time faculty, rather than teaching assistants. At Lewis, you receive one-on-one attention and personalized instruction from professors.

• Accountancy classes focus on practical, hands-on skills. You will receive  solid training in the abilities and knowledge that you will actually use on the job.

• Experience global business environments worldwide! Students have the opportunity to participate in long-term and short-term study abroad excursions, with destinations including China, Ireland, Mexico, India and France.

• All classes in the College of Business are guided by the University’s Mission and values. The curriculum is designed around Lasallian values like wisdom and justice. You will learn in the context of business ethics, moral decisions and social responsibility.
